President Focus Pakistan Dr. Owais Farooqui in a special ceremony distributed free copies, stationery and gift items among children of a backward village near Ittehad Chemicals Kala Shah Kakoo. A large number of people of the area and parents attended the ceremony organized by Umeed Trust. While speaking at the occasion, Dr. Farooqui exhorted that no one can bring about a positive change without education. Hollow slogans and fake agitations are of no use. If we really need peace, progress and prosperity, we have to promote education and ensure parity in its easy access to all. Those young students, who can’t afford a copy or pencil, won’t be able to use a Lap Top as they have to abandon their education. Without a concrete foundation, one cannot raise a sound building. Therefore, we have to focus on primary education. We do admit that with in our limited resources we are unable to distribute Lap Tops at present, but for sure we are adamant to enable our posterity to produce them in future. He appealed to the elite class to shelve their reliance on government for the promotion of education and play its own role as responsible citizens.
