Pakistan, since its creation more than half a century ago is grappling with some basic questions to find an accommodation in today's global world. Many of Pakistan's problems particularly concerning its image are due to public reluctance to discuss concepts of identity with an open mind and liberal approach. Consequently, an unfavorable international image has hurt the psyche of the individual citizen and the Nation alike. Recognizing the significance of this situation, which threatens the well being of many future generations of Pakistan, a group of concerned citizens has set up a forum, Focus Pakistan aimed at projecting a positive and balanced image.

Focus Pakistan has a two-fold mission. At the international level, it aims to portray a realistic and constructive image by involving the concerned citizenry, expatriates as well as foreign nationals.

At the domestic level it aims to encourage participation of citizens in building a strong, confident and moderate socio-political society.
