I had the opportunity to visit a public school in a small town near Baltimore The setting, facilities, organisation of curriculum, quality of teaching and teaching methodology will be envy of any Private schools in our metropolitan areas. At primary and middle school level availability of computer lab access to children’s library etc defies political gimmickry of Lap top distribution to few students! It’s all free education. We as a nation have lot of thinking, planning and organisation of our Educational system to do. Our children need to be prepared to be competitive in today and tomorrow’s world.
